The Supreme Court has mandated that every woman has a right to a safe workplace. In compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act-2013, our institution has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee to prevent, prohibit and redress cases of sexual harassment.Objectives
- Prohibition of any hierarchical oppression based on gender inequality.
- Prevention of gender-biased attitudes in academic and workplace activities.
- Protection of the fundamental rights of women.
Roles & Responsibilities
- To help women realize their rights of freedom.
- To treat sexual harassment as misconduct and take punitive action.
- To assist the aggrieved woman to place the complaint safely.
- To safeguard the victimized person from further harm.
- To educate and train students about prevention of sexual harassment.
